Our lunch today was at another vegetarian restaurant. This one is called 德风花雨. The name of the restaurant is a Buddhist phrase. It is taken from the 《无量寿经》第二十品:德风徐徐,飘花如雨. Tried to check the web for an English name but didn't manage to find one.
This restaurant is on the 5th floor of the 百脑汇 building. 百脑汇 sells lots of PC and accessories and one would need to pass through this computer mall before able to get to 德风花雨.
Surrounding area is near the Yaohan and a busy part of the Pudong city. We tried various dishes. The 素小笼 was a bit disappointed because it did not have the juice that normally 小笼包 has. I took my Malay colleague here mainly to taste the 小笼包 since this is his very first time to China.
6 of us spent RMB216 for all these dishes. It was quite a value for money. When we were going to leave there was a whole stack of Buddhist literature and books on display at the front entrance. All these books are for free and one can take any of them for souvenir.

New Age Veggie 新素代(正大店)
Today, thanks to my fellow colleagues from Penang visiting me - I have got the opportunity to try out vegetarian food in Shanghai. The restaurant we went for dinner is situated at the 5th floor of the Super Brand Mall. It is called New Age Veggie 新素代(正大店). There are 2 branches of New Age Veggie, one is in Puxi and this one is in LuJiaZui, Pudong.
Food was nice, especially the 外婆红烧肉. They really made it looks like the real thing. The food in this restaurant contains no egg ingredient.
One good thing is that this restaurant accepts foreign credit card. Four of us spent RMB446 for all these dishes.
You can find this restaurant at:

Outside Shanghai Science & Technology Museum 上海科技馆
Today, after we had shopped at the underground Xin Xiang Yang shopping shops, we went up to the outside of Shanghai Science & Technology Museum. Normally Ethan and Ai Yoong are the one who come to this museum often. Mainly because they have one year membership to this museum.
For me this is the first time I have came to this part of the museum surrounding outside. At the back of the museum there is one big structure from ancient time, the Armillary Sphere.
Surrounding the Armillary Sphere is the grand Science & Technology Museum building. The building has a main sphere shape portion which serves as the main hall. There are 2 wings at the right and left side of the sphere.

This sphere is an outdoor instrument that is used by ancient Chinese scientist.
