Madame Tussauds Shanghai 上海杜莎夫人蜡像馆

Today we went to the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum Shanghai at Nanking West Road 南京西路2-68号. It is at the 10th floor of the 新世界商厦 just directly in front of the People Square.

Simple map from brochures
More information pertaining to this wax museum can be found in this Chinese only website:
http://www.madame-tussauds.com.cn/

We paid RMB260 for family package of entrance ticket which included 2 adults and 1 child who is less than 1.2m tall. Seems that unlike other places, they actually charge kids below 1.2m for RMB80 per person. Normal 1 adult fare is RMB135, thus it is more worth it to buy the family package instead.

Family package entrance tickets
A crowded lift took us up to the 10th floor of the building where the wax museum is. Trust me it was really really crowded. The view was not bad though where we could see the People's Square just across the streets.

Immediately after the entrance, the first hall displays all the famous actress, actors and people. You can have a drink and chat with Bill Gates and Lee Kar Seng.
